SWIPED FROM A BLOG

The "Big Read" reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they’ve printed.
1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.

2) Italicize those you intend to read. (GREEN)
3) Underline the books you LOVE. (Can't underline :S)
4) Strike out the books you have no intention of ever reading, or were forced to read at school and hated. (BROWN... since I can't cross through... how are you people doing this?)
5) Gray out those you are unfamiliar with.

6) Reprint this list in your own blog so we can try and track down these people who’ve read 6 and force books upon them ;-)

Funny... I just checked out Jane Austen's Persuasion. Seven for me... ABOVE average (wink wink). Some in grey I've heard of... or recognise the authors... but don't know much about. If you have a rave review of 'em or some that are browned out... let me know so I don't overlook it! Looks like I have quite a bit of reading to do. :P
PS I've read some of the Bible... just not all of it.

Thanks for stopping by on my blog. I work in education, particular e-learning, and prior to this was a teacher for 10 years. It's freezing cold, wet and windy here today (we're in the middle of a storm) and summer seems like soooooo far away! I love to read, but don't usually get much of a chance, so these wintry days are great for sitting inside by the fire with a good book (or blog).
Ciao! :-)
